BECOME A MEMBER
Membership in the Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms and Light Weapons is based on individual capacity and commitment. A condition to be eligible for membership is that the applicant belongs to a national or international parliament as an active member and share the Forum’s objective. As a member, you are entitled to apply for participation in the activities of the Forum, as well as request policy support from the Secretariat.
The participation of parliamentarians in various fora for exchange has enormous potential for forging creative synergy effects. Lessons learned and findings can be shared with other parliamentarians and contribute to the generation of a knowledge base that exceeds above and beyond that of individual means. The Forum provides such a platform for parliamentary exchange and action and offers members the political relevance of a network consisting of a large group of parliamentarians with a shared interest and position.
