01 sep WELCOMING OUR NEW INTERN MALIN NYBERG
Malin Nyberg came from Finland to Sweden to purse a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University. As part of her education, she has the opportunity to intern at the Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms and Light Weapons (PFSALW) through the internship program hosted by the Swedish Development Forum (FUF).
– I am greatly looking forward to the exciting opportunity to conduct my internship at PFSALW, and to learn more about how issues related to Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) affect sustainable development. I am equally thrilled to learn more about PFSALW’s work and the real impact achieved through working directly with parliamentarians. As a student of Peace and Conflict studies I have become aware of the increasing social problems and physical risks related to the uncontrolled proliferation of SALW, and I look forward to using that knowledge in contributing to the important work of PFSALW, says Malin Nyberg.
