The Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms and Light Weapons is proud to have more than 250 parliamentarians as members from all parts of the world.
We want to extend a warm welcome to our new ones; in recent months as many as 26 new members joined the organisation and will be a vital part of the continued work of the Forum, to create more peaceful and sustainable societies by prevention of illicit flows of small arms and light weapons (SALW).
Our member parliamentarians constitute the core of the Forum. We are continuously reaching out to new potential members from around the world that share our objectives as parliamentarians are vital in the prevention and reduction of armed violence given their three key functions; legislation, oversight and awareness raising.
