Valentine’s Day is around the corner and in the spirit of peace and love, the Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms and Light Weapons (the Forum) warmly invites you to make a donation to our work for more peaceful and sustainably developed societies. Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW)-related violence causes the death of 210 000 people every year across the globe according to Small Arms Survey, and injures many more. Moreover, SALW-related violence has severe effects on socioeconomic development. The urgency of the situation underlines the need for effective measures to prevent and reduce SALW- related violence globally, including by parliamentarians, as to save human lives and contribute to a more peaceful and sustainably developed world.
