Melker Hörner is pursuing a social sciences degree with a focus on conflict research and political science at Uppsala University. As a part of his education, he has the opportunity to intern at the Parliamentary Forum through the Swedish Development Forum’s (FUF) internship program.
– I look forward to applying what I learned during my studies and learning more about causes of, and solutions to, uncontrolled small arms and light weapons (SALW) proliferation during my time at the Forum. In addition to developing as a person during the internship I am excited to contribute to the Forums’ objectives of promoting human security and more peaceful societies.
