CONFERENCE DETAILS

As part of its UNSCAR financed project ”Connecting the dots: Supporting SDG 16, A TT and PoA implementation through increased parliamentary engagement and action in international processes”, the Parliamentary Forum will hold a regional seminar in Latin America. The project aims to increase parliamentary engagement, understanding and participation in the ATT, PoA and Agenda 2030. Derived from a set-up of regional seminars parliamentary priorities and recommendations will be identified and condensed in a parliamentary action plan. The project includes a strengthened effort to engage parliamentarians as part of the run-up and preparation for the UNPoA Third Review Conference(RevCon3) in June 2018.

For Latin America, the countries participating in the seminar will be Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Nicaragua.
